BodyGraph

A Human Design BodyGraph is a carefully composed user manual. Your personal BodyGraph reflects how you are meant to interact with the world. It shows the conscious and unconscious inner parts of yourself, meaning which themes are fixed in our unique system and in which themes we are sensitive to conditioning.

There are nine 'Centers' in a BodyGraph: Head, Ajna, Throat, G, Heart, Solar Plexus, Root, Sacral and Spleen.
Two Centers - Head and Root - give pressure.
The Head gives pressure in the form of mental inspiration, or questions we have about life that we want to find answers to.
The Root gives pressure in the form of adrenaline, in order to improve our living situation.
Four Centers are so-called 'engines' that generate energy to act: Heart, Solar Plexus, Sacral and Root.
Het Hart genereert wilskracht, de Solar Plexus emotionele energie, het Sacraal levensenergie en de Wortel de energie om te ontwikkelen en ons aan te passen.
Three Centers are centers of consciousness: the Solar Plexus, Spleen and Ajna. In the Solar Plexus we are aware of our moods, in the Spleen of our bodily sensations and intuitions, and in the Ajna of our mind. We express these energies through the Throat Center in the form of communication and manifestation.
Finally, the G, or identity Center, connects us to love, identity, and our unique direction in life.

The nine Centers are connected by Channels, which run from one Gate to another Gate in the opposite Center. In the BodyGraph there are 64 Gates and 36 Channels. The Channels form specific Circuits through which energy flows. The energies differ thematically, yet are connected.
Each Channel and each Gate is explained using typical concepts, also called Keynotes. The Keynote Judgement for example, belongs to the Channel running from Gate 58 to Gate 18. The gates in itself are connected to the Keynotes Vitality (58) and Correction (18). This Channel is part of the Logical Circuit.
From these Keynotes you may already be able to understand that each Channel and each Gate is about a certain aspect of human existence. For example, people with the Channel of Judgment defined will naturally or persistently gravitate towards logical patterns. In addition, they are set up to form a judgment about those patterns by determining their Vitality, so that they can determine whether there is room for improvement (Correction).

“What you can rely on you’ve never relied on in your life. What you can’t trust you’ve been trying to trust all your life. What you’ve been trusting has never been you. What you’ve been ingnoring has always been you. Try to trust what’s really you and see what happens.”
